Le Petit Hameau is located in a peaceful, friendly hamlet in the south of Pas-de-Calais. The property is surrounded by beautiful, rural countryside and is close to the Somme region.

Le Petit Hameau's main farmhouse is the French home of Keith & Keran and their children, Jack & Grace. When we are at our home in France we are happy to offer help and advice to guests, as well as to suggest the best things to see and do locally.

It had always been Keith & Keran’s plan to retire to a cosy home in France, but they found themselves starting to wish the years away... so, to make a gradual move towards their dream, they decided to buy their retirement home now and to run it as a gîte business. In January 2006, after 12 months of preparation, Keith & Keran's plans became a reality.

There's been a lot of hard work - and many tears along the way - but Keith, Keran, Jack and Grace are now beginning to live their dream of a life in France. They spend much of their spare time at Le Petit Hameau as they can and are often there at weekends and during the school holidays. As for retirement... well, that's a long way off!

Jack & Grace adore their new home in the French countryside. They love being surrounded surrounded by the local wildlife, especially the neighbours’ hens, ducks and cats, who are always visiting Le Petit Hameau.
